Having joined Patalab in 2013, Simon became Partner in 2022. He has taken the lead on a diverse range of innovative  projects, including ‘The Bird in Hand’ and ‘Heath House’, which won British Homes Award and was short-listed for the Manser Medal. Simon specialises in the delivery of highly complex projects that intersect physical and digital craft.

Simon studied architecture at Cardiff University where he graduated with First Class Honours and Commendation. His undergraduate project was nominated for the RIBA President’s Medal and was awarded the T Alwyn Lloyd Travelling Scholarship. Simon has also worked at internationally respected SAM Architekten & Partner in Zurich. During this period he contributed to numerous notable projects and competition entries including the winning entry for Wilchingen Winery.
